DIRECTV, one of the largest broadcast providers in the country, needed to refresh their MVP platform, a marketing support program for bar and restaurant locations. While MVP was designed to help bar and restaurant owners receive more customers, the platform was viewed as purely transactional, resulting in infrequent use and lack of adoption. Instead, DIRECTV sought to create direct engagement with patrons, freeing up customers to manage new relationships.
For over 150 years, the Chicago Tribune has provided readers with a wealth of information and breaking news, setting them apart in the field of general knowledge. As a way to stay competitive in an ever- evolving market, the Tribune sought to deepen brand engagement with current users, open the door to begin relationships around specific areas of interests, and promote their new digital offerings as a way to bridge the old with the new.
However, the way people consume the news is changing. Digital now trumps older forms of media, which meant the Chicago Tribune needed a way to increase digital subscriptions through new, innovative methods.
With collaborative efforts we created a trivia app as a way to repurpose content, engage the user, promote a targeted message, as well as promote the paper as a whole. In addition, by requiring an email address in order to play Tribune Trivia, the Chicago Tribune would be able to obtain key contact information which would be used for digital subscription initiatives.

The goal of this collaborative project was to create a unique, one-of-a-kind, exclusive opportunity for Nickelodeon and The Dish Network by creating an exciting co-branded Sweepstakes that shouts loud and proud through its creative.

My entire life I have wanted to create my own clothing line. It took me a few months to come up with the idea but as time went by the process became stronger and my clothing line evolved. I knew I wanted to incorporate some kind of animal but I was not sure what animal would be most appealing to the demographic I was trying to attract. It finally came to me so I took my artistic talents and followed my dream to make munkee.
